Principles of Faith Christian Center (PFCC) was founded by Dr. Mannie L. Brodie, Jr. in 1998 with 8 members. Prior to establishing PFCC, Dr. Brodie taught a bible study that led to the pursuit of the God given vision of launching a church in Fontana, CA. God instructed Dr. Brodie to write a letter to the owners of a 27,000 sq. ft. property and to believe that the property would be leased to them. By April 2000 a lease agreement was signed and as a provision of the agreement, 6 months free rent was included and this property became the first home of Principles of Faith Christian Center. In the following 6 months, the congregation raised $175,000 to renovate the building debt free. October 2000 was the date of the first service in that facility. Praise God! Dr. Brodie further explains that, "In 2001, the City of Fontana attempted to relocate the church and confiscate the property due to eminent domain. The term eminent domain is the right of the government to acquire title to property for public use. Thank God he learned about faith in God and consistently fed his faith with the Word, because if had not operated by faith, the city would have given us very little in compensation because we were not the property owners at the that time. Faith in God turned the situation around so that we, the lessee were compensated at $1.4 million and the lessor received $298,000. Bless God!
Dr. Mannie L. Brodie and First Lady Winifred Brodie, believed in the power of God for the miraculous and constantly stay in expectation for a mighty move from God. As a result, by April 2001 the city purchased the remainder of the lease that financed the purchase of 2.6 acres of land. Faith in God turned the situation around so that we, the lessee were compensated at $1.4 million and the lessor received $298,000. Bless God! Immediately, construction began for the new PFCC home building from ground level up. Dr. Brodie states often that, our faith has put us in a position to do more things for the Kingdom of God. Dr. Brodie continues his ministry of teaching the Word of God and consistently applying the Principles of Faith.
Dr. Mannie and First Lady Winifred Brodie continue to believe God and touch others through a membership that has grown to approximately 1,000 and by: The Walking by Faith Television Ministry, Principles of Faith Radio Ministry, The Expungement and Community Plea Programs, Faith Watch Magazine Publication, The Annual Faith Conference, Wealth Development Strategies Seminar and The Breakthrough Conference, along with many other community programs; they are impacting lives for the Glory of God.
